Void Crusade

Void Crusade is a Warhammer 40,000 fan game set in the Great Crusade era. Command a Space Marine Legion, reclaim a procedurally generated hex galaxy from xenos empires, and lead the Emperor's Great Crusade solo, at RTS pace, fully offline.

This is the offline singleplayer edition of the co-op browser game at voidcrusade.com.

Features

• 18 Space Marine Legions, each with unique combat doctrine and modifiers
• RTS pacing — buildings finish in minutes, unit batches in seconds; pause, run at 1–8× speed, or jump time forward whenever you want
• AI Battle-Brothers — up to 4 allied Legion commanders, each with a distinct personality mined from real player behavior: the expansionist, the fortress-builder, the pioneer, the plague-marshal
• Story campaigns — scripted event decks (Ork WAAAGH!, Khrave Overmind, Aeldari, and more) with escalating invasions and campaign finales
• Deep systems — fleet combat with a deterministic battle engine, captains and officers with talent trees, research, terraforming, compliance, forge crafting
• Fully offline — no account, no internet, no telemetry; your campaigns are save files on your own machine

How to play

• Launch Play Void Crusade.cmd — your browser opens the game at 127.0.0.1:3777 (it runs a local server; keep the console window open while playing)
• Create a campaign, pick your Legion and homeworld, and crusade
• Saves live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\VoidCrusade\saves — each campaign is a save slot, and they survive updates and reinstalls

Requirements

Windows 10/11, ~400 MB disk space, any modern browser. No internet connection required after download. No Linux/Mac support yet.
